2009 marked the 25th Anniversary of L. R. Emerson II's published, multi-directional artistic style named Masg,
from Gaelic meaning to mix; or infuse.

Recently internationally accalimed artist Georg Baselitz commented he found Emerson's work Upside-Down Art "...inspiring",
which is considerable noting that Baselitz'
own art has recently sold
for as much as $4.5 million dollars at auction
and is an equally unusual styled art.
